With one month until the October 5 deadline to register to vote in the November 3, 2026 General Election, the Texas Association of County Election Officials (TACEO), which represents county election officials across Texas’ 254 counties, is issuing a series of explainer materials addressing common questions and misconceptions about the voter registration and voter list maintenance process in Texas.
